Tap your toes and sing in your heart to our joyful ALL THAT JAZZ Spring Concert! Solos and Ensembles from Ocean Strings Studio will perform the spirit of early jazz songs that blossomed out of New Orleans in the early 20th century during this fun hour of music!
Come see student and professional performances of romantic classical and jazz pieces by violin, viola, cello and piano artists at our community's gorgeous vintage Women's Club from this same era! SILENT AUCTION
Silent Auction proceeds will go towards start up costs for re-launching the ensemble: The Ocean Youth Orchestra this coming Fall 2023!
Our enrolled studio string families will have first opportunity to join this inspiring orchestra! More Details to Follow Soon! The Ocean Youth Orchestra had its beginnings in Jensen Beach FL in 2002 and had 2 very successful seasons under the direction of Richard Ballinger. Once he accepted his current orchestra position in Indian River County in 2004 the program became inactive. We are excited to now have the opportunity to bring it back to our community!
